Hi, my name is Maria - a 28 year old Designer M.A. from Germany
with a personal focus on Game Design!
I studied Media Design and have personally specialized in Game Design, largely through self-directed learning and experimentation. This path has made me highly motivated, quick to learn, and adaptable, while keeping me open-minded and eager to grow rather than fixed in rigid methods. I am particularly interested in games as a medium for storytelling and social commentary, exploring how mechanics, designs and atmosphere can convery meaning beyond words. That is why I see Game Desgin as a space where play, emotion and relfecion can coexist: I value creative experimentation, critical thinking and using games as a medium for reflection as much as entertainment.
